Mirage Dish
Mud cracks pooling sparse desert rain. Mirage dishes to hold your jewelry at the end of a day or discarded match sticks aside an evening burning candle. These dishes were created in response to the city of Pittsburgh no longer recycling glass. Glass takes 4000 years+ to breakdown in a landfill and so I drove Pittsburgh glass back to Dallas and repurposed in into my work to bring awareness and open conversation about sustainability.
